General
Great question! Every child is growing towards independence and you know best where they are on that journey! If this is your child’s first experience away from home, summer camp can be a very safe and positive time of growth. We’ve found that kids do great when they are excited about the activities available at EL-Sadai and parents have regular conversations with them about packing and working on independent tasks they’ll do at camp.
Each Camp has a specific packing list you can use as a guide for your Camper. You can view each Camp’s individual packing list here:
Cimislia, for kids – You should bring a medical certificate, casual clothing, trainers, cap, warm clothes for the evening events around the campfire, toiletries, towels, hair dryer if desired, sunscreen and insect repellant, a notepad, colored pencils and other writing utensils if desired.
Cahul, Extreme – You should bring a medical certificate, casual clothing, trainers, cap, warm clothes for the evening events around the campfire, toiletries, towels, hair dryer if desired, sunscreen and insect repellant, a notepad, colored pencils and other writing utensils if desired.
Cimislia, for kids with special needs – You should bring a medical certificate, your child’s special medication, favorite toys, etc., casual clothing, trainers, cap, warm clothes for the evening events around the campfire, toiletries, towels, hair dryer if desired, sunscreen and insect repellant, a notepad, colored pencils and other writing utensils if desired.
Cimislia, for Seniors – You should bring a medical certificate, casual clothing, trainers, cap, warm clothes for the evening events around the campfire, toiletries, towels, hair dryer if desired, sunscreen and insect repellant, a notepad, colored pencils and other writing utensils if desired.
Daily Summer Camp – Your child should be well-clothed according to the outside weather, also you should bring a notepad, colored pencils and other writing utensils if desired.
Daily Winter Camp – Your child should be well-clothed according to the outside weather, also you should bring a notepad, colored pencils and other writing utensils if desired.
Each of our rooms is very similar to a large motel room, for seven to eight people. Every single person has their own single bed accomodations, nightstand, wardrobe shelf, also there are six bathroom and shower installments per unit of building.
El-Sadai camp opens at 9:00 AM -12 PM on Opening Day!
Check out is after breakfast on the last day of the term. Most families are gone by 11:00 AM.
We have a Medical Assistand on site. We have nursing staff available and we are a five minute drive away from a quality hospital.
The Health County does not alow children to bring food from home because of health safety related issues. A microwave is available in the dining hall.
Guests can visit between 12 PM and 9 PM. Children will be in bed by 11:00 PM, as well as our staff, so they can be ready to serve again the next morning.
There is NO alcohol or tobacco on the El-Sadai site. Also, there are no pets allowed.
While it is not available in the rooms, Wi-Fi is available in the Dining Hall and Medical Area.
We welcome parents to share in their child’s arrival during the drop off times during opening day of each term. We would love for you to help your camper get settled in, make their bed and meet their counselors. We request that the time be minimal, so the counselors and other campers can begin getting acquainted.
Registration/Payment
Yes, you may pay using your Visa or MasterCard through our Online Payment System and reserve a spot for your child! We also accept cash, wired or bank transfers.

While my child is at Camp
All sporting equipment will be provided for your camper. There is no need to send sports equipment. Personal gear can be used, but there is limited storage space and El-Sadai Ministries cannot be held liable for loss or damage to personal sports equipment.
Like you, our intent is to protect your Campers heart and privacy. If bed wetting occurs, we have special matresses for cases like these. They are stripped, cleaned, and changed prior to roommates returning to the unit.
We assign 7-8 Campers to each room and 1 counselor as well.
Yes, they do. However, boys and girls have separate building units in which they sleep.
We have 10 boys’ rooms and 12 girls’ rooms.
We assign 10-12 campers to each tent and 1 counselor is assigned to each tent.
